ACTION  RESEARCH WORK ON LACK OF INTERACTION  AND CONCENTRATION OF STUDENTS IN ONLINE CLASSROOM

ABSTRACT :-

According to Stephen M. corey "Action research is the process by which practitioners attempt to study their problem scientifically in order to guide, correct and evaluate their decision and actions."

The unplanned shift from traditional learning set up to a digital teaching and learning. Where students felt some difficulty to concentrate as well as respond in the classroom. To  diagnose  and to provide remedial measures to reduce and to solve the problem an action plan was implemented.

AIM:-

The aim of the study  foccussed on the lack of attention and concentration of Students in the online classroom.

OBJECTIVES:-

*To rectify the lack of attention and concentration of  Students in online class.

*To understand the problem faced by   Students  in online class.

*To upgrade the teaching techniques used in   online class.

*To improve users accessibility and time   flexibility to engage learners in the learning.

*To meet the learning style or need of   Students in online classes.

CONTENT:-

Due to  COVID - 19 pandemic situation, the traditional classroom learning has shifted to virtual  classroom. Since there is no face to face interaction environment. Students find it difficult to adapt in online learning immediately after traditional classroom learning. This cause lack of concentration and interaction in the online class by Students. The conduction of pre-test help me to find the problem. After that a post test was conducted by implementing questioning  strategy and group discussions. This result in progress of  Students in the classroom.

ANALYSIS AND FINDINGS:-

Due to the Noval COVIDpandemic situation, classes were shifted to virtual platform. So, study was conducted on the problem lack of interaction and concentration of Students in the class. By frequently asking questions and by giving group discussions made the students to respond actively and in turn increased their concentration in the classroom. 

SUMMARY:-

The drastic changes in the educational field created many problems in the educational sector. The inability of Students to adapt new platform causes many problem among students during online class. The loss of benefits of traditional classroom was not easy to cope up with online platform. The study helped the teachers to diagnose their problem and solve it for their betterment.
